RASPBERRY. BLACK CHERRY. CARAMEL.

WASHED. MEDIUM ROAST.

Enjoy a fruity little number from Papua New Guinea. This one is all about bold raspberry flavours and juicy black cherry notes, balanced with a sweet hit of caramel running through the cup. A medium roast keeps this one bright and sweet, letting those bold fruit and syrupy caramel flavours shine.

As a filter, it's warming, juicy and bursting with fruit, whilst espresso brings out a more chewy side with plenty of caramel sweetness and bold cherry. Served over ice you will find it seriously moreish, trust us you'll keep going back to for another sip.

Information

Deep in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, Marawaka is remote. Very remote. Steep mountain ranges, dense rainforest and limited infrastructure have kept it largely isolated and that's exactly what makes this coffee so interesting.

About

Marawaka. Papua New Guinea.

Producer
Grown by a small group of female smallholder farmers, this is Arabica, washed, at 1800 to 2500 metres. Hand picked, pulped with smooth stones, washed in cold mountain rivers. As close to the land as coffee gets.Getting it here is not straightforward. But it's absolutely worth it
Region
Oburra-Wonenara District
Process
In the washed process, the focus is all about clarity and letting the bean’s natural character shine through. The cherry skin and pulp are removed (depulped) after picking. The beans are then fermented and washed in water before being dried. This method creates a clean, balanced cup with bright acidity and clarity of flavour.
Altitude
1800-2500 Masl
